Lullaby spanking

A lullaby spanking is one given for the purpose of helping me sleep.  It isn't a very hard spanking.  Just enough to let me know I have been spanked and to give a little sting to the bottom side.

Lately life has been getting in the way of a good nights sleep.  I can go all day, working as happy as can be in my sewing room and then it is time for bed.  As soon as I lay down and close my eyes, the worry bears hit.  Full force too.  I don't understand this.

Before this week a bed time spanking was a lullaby.  It would relax me and allow me the piece to get some sleep.  Not any more.   Last night Dragon spanked me.  Harder than usual.  He concentrated on the sit spot and upper part of my legs.  Owie!  Talk about a sting.  My feet drummed the bed as I struggled to stay still.  His free hand firmly at the back of my knees reminding me not to fight him.

It was a good hard spanking.  Not a punishment but a stress relief I still feel this morning.  And still...  No sleep.

I don't know what I am going to do.  I have to sleep.  I walk around all day in a fog of sleep deprivation.  Blag.  Not even lullaby spankings helps.

Ps.  I changed my blog settings to moderate all.  This allowed me to turn off the word verification.  I don't like those hard to read words but hate spam on my blog even more.  I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has cause but it is the best solution I cold come up with for the issue.

  1. Oh, I'm feelin ya, I wrote my last post at 3:30 in the morning because I couldn't sleep. Chronic, intermittent insomnia is something I have dealt with for over 30 years now. Never tried a lullaby spanking, of course we haven't been spanking at all for very long, lol.

Abby suggested I try Melatonin, have you ever tried that ? I'm not a big proponent of taking medicine and prefer natural remedies, I'm gonna give it a try.

I so hope you sleep soon and that it's restful and energizing when you do :)

    1. I am already on strong drugs to control my asthma and allergy symptoms. Drugs to make me sleep are not something I would even consider. I have enough side effects to deal with already. This too shall pass in time.

Thank you though. I hope I can get a good nights sleep soon. This zombie mom impression is getting old.

    2. Your asthma medicine could be keeping you awake. Some do.

  2. I too have insomnia, but just got put on medication. Now I have to take it early enough where it won't keep me asleep into the next day. Hope it gets better. God Bless You and Yours, Belle L

    1. Some of mine is related to the asthma meds I am on. Short term they make me wheeze, then I reach for the albuterol which makes me shake and heart race. Can't sleep like that but can't live without them.

Time will solve the stress issue. God answered my prayers but not the way I wanted him to. He said wait. I'm not very good at waiting.

    1. Thanks FD Dragon checks on me several times every night, loosing sleep himself. Yet he still requires me to nap every day. From about 11:30 until 1 or so. If I didn't have that nap, everyone in my house would be as miserable as I am.

    1. Spring sprang early this year. When the pollen settles down that will help a lot. Thanks for stopping by!
