Submission

I am sitting very uncomfortablely. The corsets are all too small and my body is no longer trained into then. It is loosely laced but I feel pressure on the floating ribs. That means that I can't lace any tighter tonight. ♥♥♥♥ That is okay. Training back into the corsets is an act of submission. Every day, by order of the Dragon, I am to spend some time laced up. Feeling the snug cage around my torso, squeezing, shaping and hugging. I can't tell you what it does to my head. Love my man just a little. ♥♥♥♥

  1. Sounds uncomfortable to me. I can't do anything tight because it effect my acid reflux.

    1. I love wearing corsets but it has been a while. Unfortunately, I have gained weight. I am okay with refux as long as I don't eat much.

  2. I adore corsets! I was looking at some yesterday. Last winter, just for fun, I went to Burlesque Dancing lessons. Unfortunately as the nights got darker, Dan put his foot down because it involved walking near the Docks and he was worried for my safety. But it was such fun!

Corsets, here, are very expensive, and I have a long waist and it takes trying a great many on before I can find one that is comfortable. However, I am determined to get one eventually. They are so very sexy both to look at and to wear. I like the ones that do up all down the front, but lace up at the back. I prefer the longer ones that push your boobs up. These days I need winching in and pushing up, sadly.

I think it is a lovely act of submission for you to do. I wear them because Dan loves to see me in them and I wear high heels and stockings with fancy lace tops and seams made out of diamantes. I realise it is rather silly at my age, but we both feel much younger than we are, and no-one else sees me dressed this way.

Have you been wearing corsets for long? Any hints?

    Many hugs

    1. I make my own corsets. The price of a really well made corset was way out of our budget. Mine are traditional Victorian. They come up just past the nipple line and support better than any bra I have ever worn.

If you want pretty $150-300 will get you a decent costume corset. Top quality for a custom corset will cost $600 and more. Look for a minimum of 24 steel bones. Look for photos with the corsets tied at the waist line with durable cord. A pretty ribbon tied in a bow shows poor qquality.

    2. And most important? You are never too old to feel pretty. You are never too old to be beautiful
AND You are never too old for a corset!

    3. Thanks so much - you have really got me thinking now. I shall be looking hard at all the corsets I see in future! I've never tried to make a corset, but I have made authentic Tudor "bodices" but used an alternative to "steel bones" as I had problems with the steel points working through the fabric and digging in. Corsets and good posture go hand in hand, but I find I do have a need to feel comfortable.

I'll let you know if I find one that comes up to my expectations - and send you a picture!

    4. A well made corset doesn't poke. I use a thicker hoop steel with boning tips to keep them from damaging the fabric.
