I had a post nearly ready but I find it impossible to post. 4 dead 14 injured 20 ambulances, 70 cop cars and a swat team. The base is locked down.
And my heart is breaking. This is to close for comfort in more than one way.
Is it okay to be happy that Dragon isn't active duty anymore? To feel relief that I don't have to worry?
But my heart breaks for the soldiers who have to carry on. For the families and friends of those lost or injured. My heart breaks for the police and paramedics. For the doctors and nurses.
But still I feel relieved.
Confused and crying tonight and my country moves on. I wonder if my country is so jaded by violence that this doesn't even remember.

Sweet Rose...yes it is okay to be happy that Dragon isn't active duty anymore...I am very happy that Dragon was not there.

16 injured. I just saw an updated report and the name of the shooter has been released.
