Finally some good news

My grandmother is getting out of the hospital today. It is frustrating to not be there? My brother gets the layman pat on the head. I want a more detailed explanation. Did she get thrombolitics? Why didn't she have a ct scan day one? Just how severe was the stroke. Grrrr. Or did our wonderful medical system which is heading to socialized medicine, write her off because she is 87? We managed to get the truck to auto zone and have a part ordered. I don't know if this is going to fix the problem but we are going to try a few things before we take it to a mechanic. Nothing fun this week. We are both super stressed.

  3. Sorry you're stressed and glad your grandmother is out of the hospital. I hope it's all good with her, and she can rebound quickly. I hope the part fixes your truck problem, and I sure hope my blue-haired friend and her Dragon get some stress relief soon!

  5. The best news is that I don't have to navigate the interstate on the motorcycle. Crossing two states going 45 miles an hour would take a while. Yikes.

I talked to my grandmother today. She was a little confused but not much more than usual.

  6. Hey Rose...happy to hear your grandmother is out of the hospital and hopefully doing well. Now sweet Rose...you and your Dragon are both stressed which means you two need to find time for a bit of play to de-stress...it will help you both deal with everything. Let one or two chores go...you two are more important.

Sending lots of prayers and healing energy and positive thoughts for your grandmother and all your vehicles.

    Hugs and Blessings,
    Cat

  7. Good news about your grandmother being released from hospital, Rose. I don't understand the hospital/medical staff topic. I understand what you wrote and your concern and aggravation. I simply don't understand why it is so often this way. :-(

Vehicle problems - bleh. I hope the new part is all you need.

I'm sending the kind of energy that blows away stress and summons fun. Quick! Catch it! ;-)

Hope this week is better. Hugs!

  8. Thank you for your prayers. It looks like a $30 part fixed the truck. Fingers crossed and lots of prayers latter. However, the speed sensor didn't fix Mina's The speedometer still doesn't work. On to the next fix. Good news is that it should be another small fix. We still need to get the oxygen sensor replaced but we need to find the both jack stands. I only know where one is.

I feel sorry for Dragon working in the rain on our vehicles but we need the rain. The lake is so low. I count my blessings where I can get them.

    1. Spoke to soon. Dragon took the truck for a little longer drive. It is doing better but not there yet. Back to trouble shooting. But it doesn't look like a transmission rebuild

  10. Rose,
Sorry to hear you're stressed. I can empathize with you about your grandmother. I have become the caretaker for my elderly parents and finding a doctor who didn't act like we were wasting their time was hard to find.
