monster in law
Oh my goodness!! I am about to let my bitch show. This soutern lady is MAD. And I don't have my flask. My backside is going to be sore when we get home.
Dragon is always ready with wize words. He said that this is just the way she is and to ignore her. The nasty in me says fine I am VERY good at ignoring people. But that isn't the right thing to do.
Time to put on my big girl panties and re join the family as much as I don't want to. Missing my whiskey. My I don't give a flying tuck juice.

ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I used to pack a few little airplane bottles in my purse before going over. I just spent the last few hours in a tiny room full of 6th birthday party'ers... and her. Nice.
I got my head straight and rejoined the party. It took me a little while to do it without whiskey but I did it. That women drives me to drinking every time.

Sweet Rose...I do understand your frustration but bottom line...if your Dragon says the right thing to do is ignore her...do it. Please don't let her bad behavior control you. Sending lots of positive energy your way!

I didn't manage to ignore her but I kept thinking, wow, how dumb can she be? It was really hard not to let my nasty sarcastic side show. I played nice until we got in the car.

I didn't see any reason to drag every one else down with my bad temper. I am the only one that got mad at her ugly comments. Blog land saved the day. :-)

ReplyDeleteblog land is a life saver at times. How would the family react if I put stuff like this on face book? Some people do but somehow I don't think that would help with family issues.
