Rose, I looked at that website. I don't think you should be involved with this magazine. It's an affiliate of Playboy magazine and they describe themselves as "a men's magazine".
ReplyDeleteThey are clearly very commercial with lots of almost naked women, and unless the pay is very, very good, I wouldn't give an interview.
Discussing it with Dragon is of course a given, but I really think it could be a good thing as long as you are quoted accurately and nothing is taken out of context. My suggestion would be that you and Dragon read and answer the questions together.

Top Floor Magazine has been online for about five years now and I write a monthly column on a wide range of subjects related to the adult world. To clarify about the Playboy affiliation, we are not an offshoot of Playboy as such. Many zines today are "affiliates" of various outlets with links to those outlets, but we have no official business ties with Playboy magazine. Our editor, David, has always admired Playboy because of the mix of entertainment, social commentary and of course the pioneering photography. Our photographers are among the best in the business and we strive always for professionalism. My interview questions would be 100% anonymous for your security. Our magazine is about presenting a full range of lifestyle, entertainment and sexual viewpoints. We do not pay for interviews. I just thought it would be great to show our readers that there's a variety of people out here from all walks of life and personal beliefs who enjoy exploring their sexuality, which helps break through various stereotypes of what it means to be "dominant" or submissive, etc. You would of course be able to fully review and approve the interview before publication and it would be up to you whether to provide any contact info or a link back to your blog. That's all up to you. Thanks again, I appreciate your feedback and consideration!
