We wanted to record our journey as we learn how to incorporate Domestic Discipline into our lives. I am a wife who has been Taken-in-Hand by her husband. I am loved and cherished by him. I am his little china doll and he is mine forever.

Happy Easter
By d Dragon decree, we are staying home today. he decided that my lungs are not up to a church full of people. Perfume.
I usually listen to mass from the entry way. I just can't do it. Maybe one day people will start to realize that their perfume is a hazard to some. There are so many places asthmatics can't go and it feels like people just don't care.
A long time ago, at our church, they had to stop putting real Easter lilies out, because it caused so many people's allergies to flare. Then they told chior members to quit wearing perfumes. So far, I guess they haven't told the congregation. I can't wear perfumes unless you can barely smell them. I don't have allergies, thank the Lord, but I do get migraines from strong smells, loud noise, and bright or flashing lights. My family had to go to a funeral home visitation on Friday. My daughter and I looked at each other in disbelief when a car door opened (a car length away from us)and we could smell a very strong scent of perfume (before the lady even got out). I'm sorry that you are suffering with asthma. I think they should ask people to refrain from perfume in church (because of people not feeling like they can move or leave, and so many people not able to tolerate it). Hope you had a wonderful Easter and may you always celebrate Easter in your heart. -Belle L.
I have hope that one day a little love will be shown to asthmatics. Every one just shrugs their shoulders or they make excuses. Some times it is tempting to be rude and say "hey, you stink. Get out of my air space"
Enjoy the day in and cuddle.
ReplyDeleteWith the bad weather, cuddle time sounds great.
DeleteGod is alive and well in your house. Enjoy the day.
ReplyDeleteYes He is. Thank you for the reminder? Enjoy your weekend.
DeleteHave a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteWe often needed to leave because of how the incense caused my daughter to have asthma! I wish they would realize that!

DeleteHang in there. Migraines are miserable.
But we did have a good day. No trouble breathing.
